Welcome to another Q&A session where I answer questions from you all on the internet.
Today's question is:
What Tim takes the most pride in is seeing a project through from the very beginning to the end and witnessing the final outcome of a new floor or whatever else the team is doing in a home. A major source of satisfaction is seeing homeowners happy with the result. He values the praise that comes from showing up on time and following through on exactly what he said he would do. Above all, Tim emphasizes the importance of referrals, noting that referrals are what he has lived on throughout all his years in business. This reflects a reputation built on reliability and trust rather than aggressive marketing. For Tim, the combination of a beautiful finished result, satisfied clients, dependability, and word-of-mouth recommendations is what makes the work meaningful and what has sustained his business over the long term.
I don't know, I guess just sometimes seeing the project from the beginning to the end, and seeing the outcome of the new floor or whatever else we're doing in the home. Seeing the homeowners happy, that's a big one for me. Getting praise for being on time and doing what we said we were going to do, that matters to me a lot. And getting referrals. That's what I've lived on all these years. So really it comes down to a few things: seeing a project through from the very beginning to the very end, seeing the homeowner happy with how it turned out, being known for showing up on time and following through on what we promised, and then earning the referrals that have kept this business going year after year. That combination is what makes the work matter to me, and it's what I'm most proud of.
